"Real English" by German/American artist Gustav Muss-Arnolt. Muss-Arnold was born in Germany in 1858 and migrated to the US in 1890. He was a painter who specialized in animal portraits and was a director of the AKC. He died in Tuckahoe, NY in 1927. This work sold recently at a Skinner auction. Sporting Group; English Setter.
