"Skye Terrier" by Scottish artist Robert Alexander (1840-1923). Alexander was a member of the Royal Scottish Academy and The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour. This oil on panel was recently sold through the Hamshere Gallery. Terrier Group; Skye Terrier.
"Afternoon Promenade" by English painter Arthur Wardle. Wardle was born in London in 1860. He had a lifelong interest in painting animals and became known as one of the top dog painters of his time. He died in 1949.
